For an assignment as part of my graduate studio, we were asked to take two unrelated data sets and present them in a way that made them appear to have a correlation. The project title was, Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics, where the goal was to understand the impact visualizations can have on data driven content. For the visualizations, I explored two dimensional and three dimensional representations.
Data sets I chose to work with:
× Number of DUI Occurrences by Month in Raleigh (2010–2012)
× Number of Unemployed People by Month in Raleigh (2010–2012)
Software: Excel, Illustrator, AfterEffects
